The Best Ball Boy in the World
By: Daryl | March 11th, 2009Not sure what they’re paying the ball boys at Israeli second division team Hapoel Haifa, but this one lad definitely deserves a raise. The opposition Bnei Lod keeper comes rushing out to head the ball clear, but the quick-thinking ball boy gets a replacement ball into his team’s hands before the keeper can get back, and Hapoel score. Good work youngster.
But even with 12 men, Hapeol Haifa managed to lose the game 2-1. Same deal with Ron Jans last week. Where the Dutch manager tried killing a few precious seconds by booting the ball into the stands he was rewarded with his team conceding a losing goal. Seems there’s no reward for cheating innovation in football anymore.
If you’ve seen this vid before, then it’s probably because we spotted it on The Spoiler who saw it on TPS who themselves got it from 101 Great Goals. The vid was also featured on Classic YouTube in The Guardian, who – for reasons best known to themselves – don’t give any credit to anyone when they find a video. Just saying.
