The Timbers group had a Washington PDL team and two teams from California in it. But I'm guessing the organizers were salivating over the thought of a Timbers-Sounders match as much as the fans. I love the USOC, as a fan of a lower division team. MLS may not take it seriously, but its a big deal to us die-hard USL1-ers. The semifinal in Charleston last year was a blast. Up the Battery!
