The Biggest Wall in Goal you’ll Ever See

By: Bob | November 13th, 2006

Taking a cue from the Great Wall of China, the team in the video below lines 11 across the goal during what has to be one of the closest indirect free kicks in the history of indirect free kicks. I’m not entirely sure what the celebration is about after the play, but this whole video is too amazing for comprehension.

hmm… “one of the closest indirect free kicks in the history of indirect free kicks”? it’s been a few years since i’ve worn my referee patch, but isn’t any indirect free kick given within the six yard box supposed to be moved out to the six yard line? that would then make it THE closest indirect free kick, along with all the others ever given inside the six yard box.

It’s not that easy to convert a kick like that. On the other hand, you will not succeed in the first place if you want to kill somebody with the shot. But technique was never a chinese strength.
