The DonorsChoose Offside Challenge

The Offside recently teamed up with DonorsChoose, a smart organization that allows teachers in need of school supplies to explain what they need, and then individuals can read the various proposals and make donations to the cause they like.
Or as the DonorsChoose slogan says: “Teachers Ask. You Choose. Students Learn.”
So here’s the deal: We’ve chosen several soccer related causes, where public school teachers are seeking funds to buys soccer balls, goals and other equipment. And we’re asking Offside readers to read the proposals and give whatever amount they can.

Great idea and is linked in my blog now (not that more people read it or anything but just trying to get more people involved). I also plan on linking this all over teh interwebz.
