The French Ligue doesn’t want you to see these Goals of the Season
By: Bob | June 6th, 2007
The Ligue de Football Professionel have hopped on the time-to-sue-YouTube bandwagon, joining the English Premier League and others who have their panties in a bunch because their copyrights are being violated by 14-year-olds in Malaysia posting video clips to the Internet. While Chelsea and Major League Soccer have embraced the new technology, officials in France think that you watching the goals of the 2006/2007 2005/2006 season in the video above will hurt their bottom line. Enjoy the video while it is still up. There are some beautiful goals that might even make you a bit excited about soccer in France. Perish the thought.

That’s adorable, Bob. Too bad those are the 2005/2006 Goals of the Year.

Details, details. Like fine French wine they never get old. Sam’s blog has the best from 2006/2007. They don’t want you to see them either.
