

The Offside Fantasy League: Who Needs Fabio Capello Anyway?

The English FA have just started paying Fabio Capello something like £6 million a year to pick the England team. But why pay anyone at all to do something so simple? Now that we have fantasy football stats to go on, the England team more or less picks itself. With only David Beckham playing outside of the Premier League, it’s perfectly possible to take the very same SquadGod stats we use in The Offside Fantasy League and pick a perfectly good England eleven. Sort of. Read on to see what the England team would look like if picked purely on fantasy football points.
