The Offside Rewind: Your Turn to Lead
By: Bob | April 27th, 2007
- Another family ruined by Ronaldo
- P Didier is in da house
- So hard to breathe after watching that goal
- Another day, another book about Rooney sleeping with grandma
- Jose Mourinho’s dirty laundry
- Heavy petting is also a bookable offense
- You might want to ask your boss about getting a similar bonus
That is all from me for the week, but before you get all teary eyed and start wondering how you will make it through the weekend all alone, I have some good news. My mate Daryl, he of World Cup Blog fame, will be piloting the ship on The Offside during the weekends now. Even with his inexplicable fondness for Owen Hargreaves he is a good guy who knows a ton about football. Please make him feel at home this weekend. Have fun and be safe. I will see you on the other side.

Welcome Daryl to the Offside weekend addition. It will be nice to see some more activity on the weekend as it slows down a bit. Can you give us a preview of what to expect?

Thanks David. Hopefully it will be more of the same, but with some reaction to the weekend’s games thrown in. Are you ready for the MLS Super-Clasico?

I am ready for an interesting match, especially seeing if Chivas can overcome their abysmal record in the SuperClassico. Guevara will have to really pick up his game tonight, both in passing and in scoring. What also will be interesting is to see how many people attend the game.
