The Top 5 Free Kick Goals
By: Bob | March 1st, 2007Since it isn’t a democracy around here and since I didn’t actually put this video together you have no reason to bitch and complain if your all-time favorite free kick goal didn’t make the cut. The goals in the video above are pretty special, however, but if it were up to me I probably wouldn’t have included number four. I also would have chosen a different soundtrack but I am picky that way. If you can remember some other outstanding free kicks that beat these feel free to add your thoughts and links via comments. Heck, we might be a democracy after all.

That was awesome.
#1 definitely deserves to be #1.
#2 was incredible. That last angle was perfect.
The soundtrack was great.Posted from

The passage of time is the only reason my 1979 free kick from just outside the box didn’t make this list. An absolute cannon that whipped past the broken wall (made up of other 9 and 10 year olds), connecting directly with the center of the keepers face, forcing his head backwards past the line and the ball into the back of the net. I got both the ball and this kid’s head over the line and yet I was only credited with one goal. What a rip!

Who’s #2? Who’s #2? DWAYNE DE ROSARIO, THAT’S WHO!
