I question the crossover bit because from everything you hear about Crystal Palace’s financial situation, Neil simply may be supplementing his Championship paycheck to keep the electricity on. You can judge for yourselves – I won’t be buying his album, and I’m sure Eric Clapton would prefer he kept to covering other artists’ songs.
