The super isn’t the only one in South America: in Brazil there are three derbies: Palmeiras vs. Sao Paulo; the Belo Horizonte derby between Cruzeiro and Atlético Mineiro, and the biggest clash in Rio de Janeiro, Vasco da Gama vs. Flamengo in the Maracana, though few tickets have been sold for the latter due in part to Vasco finding themselves in the relegation zone going into the match. A great weekend for derbies the world over!

Juventus v. Napoli- Most successful northern side v. most successful southern side, in Italy, that’s a big deal. I think it’s a bigger derby for Juve than anyone except Inter. For many Juventini, it’s bigger than the derby della mole.
