This is worth a six-game ban?
By: Bob | October 18th, 2006Yesterday, I wrote about the choking incident that occurred on the sidelines of a match between Adelaide United and Melbourne Victory in Australia’s A-League. Adelaide United coach John Kosmina has now been handed a six-game sideline ban by the league for choking Melbourne’s Kevin Muscat. After watching the video above, particularly the replays towards the end, I find it hard to believe that the punishment is that severe. It is not like Kosmina really squeezed hard or made Muscat’s face turn purple, something many people who played against the former Millwall skipper would love to see. The whole thing looks like a big accident and just a minor incident compared to what we see happen on the pitch in leagues around the world.

Give it a rest about Stephen Hunt, it was an obvious accident…………. As for the Muscat choke well….. Kevin Muscat is a complete idiot, that is a player that if he’d of kicked Cech then there would have been no doubt he meant to hurt him!
Likewise get well Mr Cech, but stop blaming the poor lad who was unlucky enough to be involved, Jose Mourinho is still whinging about everything and anything…. he’s now pissed that the ambulance didn’t come quick enough, even though it was HIS staff that didn’t want one!!!!!!Posted from

WTF? So, the player gets a 1 week ban here in Germany for tossing. But that fucking choke sends this manager or what he was out for half of the season, that’s about it!

Well deserved, should of been worst. You’re a coach and that should mean something. It was an accident. The action of wanting to choke a player degrades the meaning of a coach…
