Time To Switch Bundesligas

I like goals. Do you like goals? Austria likes goals.

Second weekend in a row the Austrian Bundesliga has produced a double-digit goal thriller, though this one less of a thriller for one, more so for the other. Last week it was Sturm Graz & Mattersburg in a 6-5 squeaker. This week Red Bull Salzburg – a team I am personally funding all by my lonesome – took Kapfenberg out back like the red-headed stepchild that it is and gave them a beat down, to the tune of 7-3.

I vote the champion of the Austrian Bundesliga gets promoted to the German Bundesliga, that way Werder Bremen and Hoffenheim can win games like 14-11. So somebody get on this. Until then, I’m taking my business to Austria. Who needs defense?
