With respect to the voting, people are worried over nothing. That’s why they give the fans such a small voice in the final say. They’re will be one or two TFC players mabe in the starting lineup. They will always try to keep the host fans happy, but that will be it. Sutton has been solid but he will not get minutes.

I agree the all star game is a little silly. I would say some of the league’s best teams like DC United (and others) could challenge a team like West Ham on their own. Having said that, I’m still looking forward to it and it will probably get more exposure overseas which is important.

Whoever came up with the idea that a league All-Star team should play an international club is a moron. Of course a team made up of the absolute best players in a league will beat out a team that probably doesn’t have all of their positions as top as they’d like to.
This just sets up the league to be ridiculed in the event that they actually do loose the game.

Anyways, this list just goes to prove that there are more TFC fans out there then there are any other mls team fans.

You’re absolutely right it is. Everyone knows it is, so the point is moot. And yet with that in mind, how come more MLS fans don’t poll as often as we do for their players?

The answer is quite simple. There are more of us in Toronto and we like our team more than they like theirs.

From what I understand the scripts for goal of the week started as retaliation when they were discovered through lurking on TFC boards.

As for the all-star game I say let them have it. It’s in Toronto and played at a stupid time for fixture congestion (DC, Houston, New England and Chivas players should say thank but no thanks with both the Superliga and the Champions league coming up), its against West Ham and its a bit of a joke that the league can’t accomodate international fixtures but can give every team a week off for this exhibition. Only other logic is to vote for all the min salary guys so they can pocket the bonus.

I honestly and truly can’t stand Toronto FC fans. I hate, repeat, HATE, the streamers. I find the fact that they even throw them so juvenile yet such a testament to the Toronto fan mentality: Childish.
Enthusiasm aside, Toronto sport fans lack class in my opinion.

So you know, I live in Toronto, so don’t think I’m bashing to start shit.

if you want a real story, write about how DC fans are stealing Goal of the Week by scripting. they have 6 out of 14, and the last 4 in a row….thank god they werent able to script the All-star voting.

Im a TFC fan and i only voted once….not 10 times, everyday like you claim. I think the large number of TFC players is due to the large number of TFC fans, not voting 10 times a day everyday.
