TP Mazembe: The Oakland Raiders Of Africa.

If you’ve ever watched American football (throwball) and caught a glimpse of an Oakland Raiders home game, it can be a very frightening sight. It’s a phenomenon called Raider Nation, comprised mostly of large gentlemen – your most upstanding community members, surely – dressed up in black and silver like it’s Halloween-meets-bondage several Sundays out of the year, dubbing their abode in the stadium the ‘Black Hole’, which is also where their football goes to die.

TP Mazembe fans have formed the new Black Hole – it’s TP Mazembe Nation. Slightly more tribal, but no less freakish.
