Turning Your Defender Gets A New Meaning

By: chris | April 27th, 2009

Speaking of Bahrain… (don’t get that often, do we?)

After watching the Bahrain training bonanza video from earlier I found myself, as usual, ghosting around YouTube’s related clips for no good reason – a Monday thing, I gather. Which brought me upon Jaycee John, a Nigerian-born Bahraini int’l now playing in Belgium and who appears to be the dual-barreled weapon of quite skilled and quite arrogant.

He’s like the homeless man’s Bahraini-Nigerian Cristiano Ronaldo. A cheeky move (a couple years ago – but I’m guessing most are oblivious to the happenings of the Bahraini Premier League) which drew applause from his fans, ire from the opposition’s and a tear or two from the reluctant defenders he baited into a supporting role in his highlight reel.

the only thing that stopped this clip from being great was the horrible background music… unless of course you’re into cheesy 80’s freestyle/pop music..then its ya lucky day!
