I caught only the second half. Not sure how Revs got the win -- they must've played better first half. As much as I would prefer coughing up hairballs to saying this, Dallas played a better second half. But I still detest their existence and am thrilled they lost.

Revs win! 3-2, and the US Open Cup is back in New England for the first time since 1947. Can the Revs be the new Fall River? Here's hoping.

This should be a phenomenal contest. There's a pallor of hard desire in the New England camp for this trophy. Not just because of their empty silverware cupboard, but also to wash off the sludge of their previous Frisco defeats and prove something. To themselves and the owners. I predict New England, 3 - 2.

I can only hope this is an exciting game for us neutrals/USL fans - was disappointed after getting my hopes up that all the lower division sides crapped out...except for seattle. I guess to thank them for removing the flounder stench from the tournament, I'll root for FC Dallas.

I'm actually pleasantly surprised that the game is on TV - maybe I'll get home in time to watch the 2nd half.
