Can I just give a shout out to the wonderfully awesome Mexican U-23 team who managed to finish third in their group? I hope the organizers in Nashville weren’t counting on El Tri to boost attendance and can market the hell out of USA vs Canada (and Hondurus vs Guatamala).

Tough match. I enjoyed the back and forth play. Davies must’ve worked on his diving. Now he needs to improve his PKs.

Also adored the female ’streaker’ in the second half. How could I not? USA Soccer fandom has truly arrived.
