It was a day for cup finals. The Scottish Cup, the Coppa Italia, and the Coupe de France were just a few of those awarded today around the world of football. Here’s a look at some of the highlights from today’s action.

Above, Roma gets their revenge for Inter’s controversial Scudetto win with a 2-1 victory in the Coppa Italia. Also, congratulations to Lyon on their first ever domestic double. The question is now, will they pull a Chelsea and sack Alain Perrin as well, or despite his lack of popularity, did he do enough to stay?

  I think Perrin will be fired despite the fact that he did what no Lyon coach did before.

  That makes Real Madrid firing Capello and Chelsea firing Grant seem reasonable, doesn’t it?
