Viva La Volley

Perhaps you think Cristiano Ronaldo’s bicycle kick goal that wasn’t a goal for Portugal against Azerbaijan on Saturday is the nicest volley you’ve seen this year. Or maybe your vote would go for Didier Drogba’s beautiful turn against Liverpool last month. Those were both works of art, but they pale in comparison to the goal I scored this morning while playing this addictive little game.
I haven’t been able to put the goal up on YouTube yet because I am still trying to find an appropriate soundtrack for it, but I can only describe it as an overhead 360 scissors kick that went like a laser into the upper right corner of the goal. Pure class, I must say.
Just don’t tell my boss about it.
