Water Cooler Offside: Take a Gulp

Please allow me to bring one of the newer Offside blogs to your attention. It’s called Water Cooler Offside, and it’s written by Laurie, Chris and myself. I say written, it’s really a lot of cutting and pasting. Water Cooler Offside is basically a “behind the scenes of The Offside” blog. It’s videos, photos and other stuff that didn’t quite make it into an Offside front page post for whatever reason. Things like this dribbly Norwegian goal, this young girl with Ronaldinho-like skills, and Mario Gómez refusing to shake hands with the Stuttgart mascot (or at least that’s what it looks like).

In addition, we’re posting some of the behind the scenes chatter, because some of it’s pretty funny (some of it isn’t, but don’t worry we won’t be posting that). Things like the conversation about Cristiano Ronaldo that pretty much started the whole thing, clever comments we’ve spotted around the site, and a glimpse of the agonizing process that was picking our Nike XI vs Adidas XI teams.

So head on over to the Water Cooler and take a gulp.
