Yeah, I think I did make most of these too easy. I’ll make it up to you next week.

I thought more people would get this, given that Giuly has played in leagues all over the place. Apparently his face isn’t defined by his smile.

What was funny was that, even given that I’m a big Lyon fan, I didn’t see the resemblance to Karim Benzema till somebody else mentioned it. I guess when you’ve seen one buzz cut, you’ve seen them all.

To me, Toulalan’s chin defines his face. Apparently not too many people see what I see. Or maybe you also need the nose to provide perspective.

Was Cana too obscure? Apparently so. This is the only photo in the short history of Weekend Quiz that was not guessed by anybody.

I considered doing a mouth photo that included the braces, but that would really have given it away.

Yoann Gourcuff, Bordeaux.
Yes, this is the AC Milan photo from the Dolce and Gabbana catalog. I still consider him a Ligue 1 guy.

See, I knew all the Italians (and I count Gorcouf as one due to his last season at Milan) and none of the French, because I know nearly nothing of Ligue 1. Maybe next time you could separate them?
