Weekend Quiz: MLS

My quizzes are usually a bit Eurocentric. Or more than a bit. Not this week. This — the first weekend of the MLS season — is a chance for our MLS fans to get in on the fun.

Here’s the deal: I give you a portion of a face, you tell me (in the comments) who it belongs to. I don’t think I’m making these terribly hard, because MLS players don’t get the exposure that the top Euro stars do. So jump in and give it a go. Answers tomorrow.

Seein' some good progress here, but still in need of guesses for #2, #8, #11 and #12. I was hampered by a lack of good photos for all four, so here are a few clues.

#2. If I showed the hair, it would give it away.
#8. I've been a huge fan for two years and didn't realize till this photo that he had blue eyes.
#11. If nobody guesses this one, I'm going to go summon Dave Martinez to this post and make him guess.
#12. You should not be surprised to see this player/team in one of my quizzes.
