garyjones_450x312.jpgSome matches you should keep an eye on while you avoid mowing the lawn….

MLS All-Stars vs. Chelsea, Saturday – The top players in the US domestic league square off against a collection of all-stars wearing blue. After the game, Chelsea will buy MLS and use the league as a reserve team.

Gremio vs. Juventude, Saturday – Brazil league action is never complete without the ritual burning of portable toilets.

3 de Febrero vs. Tacuary, Saturday – Did you know that Peru’s top league has teams called 3 de Febrero, 2 de Mayo, and 12 de Octubre? Neither did I. Sadly, there is not a team called Cinco de Mayo.

Coventry vs. Sunderland, Sunday – The Black Cats of Sunderland go from being one of the worst teams in Premiership history to a contender in the Championship League.

Colo Colo vs. Palestino, Sunday – Two of the best named teams in Chile square off in what will surely be a match for the ages.

Emelec v Barcelona, Sunday – There is no love lost between these Ecuador league rivals. We expect some great You Tube video from this one.

Wow, Chelsea looked great against a team that started a team that makes about $199M less per year.

Hi, Bob. Great new site. Just thought you should know those clubs you said were from Peru are actually from Paraguay.
