Thanks for the link, Isaiah. I’ve tried to check out a few matches here. My experience was mixed. Though I was able to watch a few (relatively pixelated) games, other times the stream was down at the last minute and not working or it cut out half way through. Bummer.

After some frustration I started looking around and I found all the games at http://www.JumpTV.com. They stream all of the games from SerieA in North America (and Latin America too apparently) live and on demand which is pretty sweet. The stream quality was great as you can “tune your video” and pick the best bandwidth for your connection. This was cool as I was on wifi at Starbucks. You can check it out at http://seriea.jumptv.com.

Has anyone else tried this? Does anyone have a promo code for the games? I don’t mind dropping a few bucks to watch AC Milan or Roma but I think there are codes circulating to get a discount.

Visit http://www.channelchooser.com , I haven tried yet but it says that there is “premiere League of England and Serie A’ to watch the games online. We have to wait until ‘1 September’ to understand if this is true or not…..

It’s a good idea, this whole online TV thing, thinks me.

Daniel, Sopcast isn’t the greatest service, but if you find the right sites you can get links to all of the games you can think of. livefooty.doctor-serv.com for instance always has a long list of games they’re linking to, most of which are on sopcast. The quality is lacking, of course, but it is free, after all.

Christ, why doesn’t every league do this? From what I can gather, France had a similar program in the 2002-3 season, but then dropped it for some reason.

So how does this work, exactly? Just like MLSLive.tv? If so, is it possible to just get someone’s name and password and watch the games that way?
