Ibra waited for the ball, he did stick his foot out but it wasn’t until the ball was in the position that he needed it to be that he moved his foot looking for the contact…he wasn’t hoping for contact, he looked for the contact, he pushes the ball, it’s not like the ball merely bounced off his foot, which is probably what happens in Mele’s school.

yep this is certainly both luck AND skill. couldnt have done it without either. as someone said yes nearly all goals ARE luck if you stop to consider it.
And er… i dont think highschool kids can do it.

omg I love this goal.
I am a HUGE Inter supporter and a great fan of Zlatan.
He is an amazing player, there is no way you can go around the fact.
I am not really sure if the goal is luck or skill, I think it is most likely a bit of both. The one thing you can’t deny is the fact that it is one hell of an entertaining goal! =]

mele… relax bro… i think you missed the point… yes it was luck that the ball went in, but to even have the idea to try it and put your body in that position and to be able to steer in the direction of the goal, is where the skill comes in… just see if you could even get your heel that high…zlat is a tall dude, so his heel mustve been atleast 5 feet off the ground… this was about 90% skill, 10% luck..if u cant see that, thats your problem..
