And its great to see the wonderful logic of ‘the joke’s on you, because your team was prepared for it’. Now I understand how Roma players diving is justified. Every single serie A fans are prepared for it. Wheres the joke on that? Stupid opponents DARING to close down almighty Totti?

No wonder Rosella was praising Moggi numerous times pre-calciopoli.

I’m guessing Zampa didn’t expect a re-game, (I dunno, who knows what Zampa thinks) but the call was more than unfair, and it would be stupid to just sit and say what a great game it was.
(especially when a goal came 2 minutes after a dubious red AND clear rule-breaking cornerkick, and Roma was able to score with one of 2 shots they made on target during the entire game. Would Rosella Sensi being part of FIGC helped this? Of course not.)

I get his point, I really do, but how many games in Serie A would have to be overturned for something ridiculous like this? More so, how many Palermo games? I’m sure this is something they police strictly in Sicily. I’ll go ahead and guess the judges laughed it off their desks.

(For what it’s worth, Roma’s Lilliputians typically suck ass on corners. They typically take them quickly and then donate possession to the other team. The fact that they managed to score on a corner when 8 of the 9 men closest to the goal were Palermo players will probably go down as their greatest achievement since the last scudetto.)

I can’t agree that its ok to break rules because it was done before, especially when its not an accident but a trained action. It was also amusing to read that judges decided to dismiss the claim because ‘the ref didn’t record it’

Alright, so yeah, he’s a bit off center and a source of endless amusement to even Palermo supporters (well to this one, at least), but I’ve got to admit that I’m not too put off by his rant about this. So he’s only bringing it up when his team is at the short end of the stick? Well, he’d be *really* crazy to do so otherwise, right? The point stands that even though everyone knows that Roma does it, it doesn’t make it any less against the rulebook. And for what it’s worth, it’s legal for a ballboy to roll the ball out, as long as he doesn’t cross beyond the advertising hoarding.

All in all, I really don’t think Zampa expected the appeal to be withheld, but he got to make noise about it and at least get the idea dramatically out there. Boh, I’m probably more interested than outraged at the whole thing anyway.

The judge already dismissed his complaint and the result stays 1-0 to Roma…lol
