Zenit Teammates Vladislav Radimov and Fernando Ricksen Fight

By: Bob | February 1st, 2007

With the Russian club Zenit St. Petersburg playing in front of a huge, rabid crowd in a heated rivalry friendly against Spanish side Malaga, it is only natural that passion would come to the surface and tempers would flare. What wasn’t expected is that the tempers would lead to teammates Vladislav Radimove and Fernando Ricksen having to be separated by players from the opposing team. Perhaps they indulged a little too much in their club’s beer pipeline before the match. Rest easy, the two have issued a joint apology for behavior unbecoming to any person, let alone a professional footballer. Yes, true footballers would never behave like this.
