Zlatan Ibrahimovic Must Look Like He Needs a Hug

If we were to list the most huggable players in world football, I doubt Zlatan Ibrahimovic would figure highly. The big talented Swede seems much more aloof than he approachable. Also, have you ever tried hugging someone who’s 6′5″? A fan at last night’s Valarenga vs Barcelona pre-season friendly was willing to risk it though.

The tiny man in black (pictured above) sprinted onto the pitch, past the ref and between two other players before finally leaping to embrace big Zlatan. The Barcelona striker wasn’t 100% keen on the unexpected embrace (like we said, he’s not all that huggable) and so didn’t reciprocate, but did seem to take it in good humour.

To be fair, I think if my team played with one striker and just signed David Villa, I’d need a hug too. Though I’d prefer not to receive it in the middle of a game.
